Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. This is a very powerful scripture when applied correctly.
Have you ever really thought about the true plans for your life? What if told you life owes you something, would you believe me? What if you could have total control over your life, would you go for it? I'm going to let you in on a not so secret, secret. Your life was planned out for you before you were born. How do I know this to be true? Well the word of God teaches us that He ( God ) already put every " good" thing in place for us. The problem is we tend to put more trust in what man ( other people) say about our life rather than what God's word say's is already in place for our life. The word of God is our blueprint for a " good life." Stay encouraged to find your life paths in the word of God and when you do, follow it accordingly. Be STRONG and know that there is a Good plan in place for your life.
Life does owe you something, it's called am experience. The best approach to life is going after the experience that will provide you the best "good" experience. Don't run from experience's that appear to be linked to failure, setbacks or detours. All of which help to build you up, push you futher and set you up for greatness. Life is not as complicated as we make it out to be....learn to see each day as an opportunity to explore, learn & grow. The sooner we can accept the occurence in our lives as eperiences, the sooner we could learn to enjoy life the way God intended. You see the fight was fixed in your favor...you WIN! Your enemy is hoping you never find this out. To late, I just let the cat out of the bag! I challenge you to start living your life like a winner and nothing less. Have the COURAGE to face each experience head on.
News flash, you are in control of your life. A large part of your life experiences comes from the words you speak. If you speak lack, depression, shame, guilt, etc. that's exactly what you can expect to encounter in your life. If you keep your focus on never making it to the top. Never being successful, that's what you'll get a " Never happening" lifestyle. Focus on what the word of God says about you and your life. All things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26). He ( God ) wants to give you the desires of your heart. God did not give you the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7), so stop being afraid to go after what you believe is yours. God makes it clear if you ask you can have it (Matthew 7:8). Learn to manage your encounters in such a way that leaves you in the driver seat verses the backseat. There will always be someone or something that will challenge your peace, joy, happiness & success, but you've got to learn what's worth fighting and what's worth walking away from. Sometimes we fight to hold on to things that serve no real purpose to our present or future success...but because of sheer fear of looking like we failed, we choose to hold and suffer quietly in silence. I say get rid of anything that threatens your peace, joy, happiness & success. Fear, shame & guilt steals your control and forces you to be a slave to mediocracy.
To inherit your promise land do as Joshua did, line up the troops ( stength, courage, confidence & power) and start moving in the direction God has shown you. Your future will thank you later.
